Nixa, MO interior design team wins international design award
Nola Shivers’ Design Team, of Decorating Den Interiors in Nixa, MO was awarded a top award in the international Dream Room competition. The awards were presented at Decorating Den Interiors 46th annual conference held recently in Jacksonville, Fla.
Nola Shivers and Jillian Johnson were awarded a top prize for their dramatic room makeover in the dining room category.
This was the company’s 31st annual International Dream Room awards competition. Judging was done by journalists from across the U.S. and Canada who write about interiors for such publications at Traditional Home, House Beautiful, Design NY, the Canadian magazine Arabella and for national syndication and regional publications. Winners were selected based on their design excellence, creative problem solving, and overall presentation.
Decorating Den Interior’s room makeovers have been featured in such publications as Good Housekeeping, Canadian House and Home, Better Homes and Gardens, Woman’s Day, House Beautiful, House and Garden and Arabella. In addition, the company has been featured in a variety of design segments on HGTV and The Discovery Channel.
